The 6 mm nozzle supplied with the gun is the reference diameter for spraying Seacork. It guarantees optimum flow, uniform granulometry and precise coverage, even in corners and confined areas.

A special elbow for projection from all angles

Included with the gun, the Seacork adaptor elbow is the accessory that makes all the difference on site. It allows you to direct the spray into areas that are inaccessible in a straight line: hull bottoms, bulkhead corners, confined spaces under skirting boards or behind ribs. Combined with the 6 mm nozzle, it guarantees complete, even coverage of the entire surface to be treated, with no blind spots and no manual rework.

Compressor requirements: a critical point

Continuous spraying of Seacork requires a stable and sufficient supply of compressed air. Insufficient pressure immediately results in irregular spraying and a non-uniform result.

Why are these values important?

The gun consumes 220 L/min of compressed air. To maintain a working pressure above 4 bar at all times - the minimum threshold for continuous, uniform spraying - the compressor must be capable of delivering 8 bar with a tank capacity of at least 50 litres. Below these values, the pressure drops during spraying and the result becomes irregular.

Can I use any commercial compressor? No. A small DIY compressor is not enough. You need a professional compressor delivering 8 bars with a tank of at least 50 litres to maintain a stable working pressure above 4 bars at all times.

Is the 6 mm nozzle the only compatible one? This is the diameter recommended and supplied by Seacork for optimum application of sprayed cork. Using a different nozzle may affect the granulometry and homogeneity of the result.

Is the gun compatible with both versions of spray cork - natural and white? Yes, it is designed to be used with both Seacork formulations.
