Seacork Deck
The natural choice for non-slip, aesthetically pleasing boat decks.
You'll choose it for its comfort and unique properties
or simply as a replacement for teak on your deck or in your interior.
Seacork Deck® - ORIGINAL
The suppleness of the Seacork Deck provides unrivalled comfort underfoot;
Its natural appearance is an added bonus, making it the most remarkable ecological choice on the market.
It does not accumulate heat and allows the Deck to be used in all weathers.
Seacork Deck® - MORE
Seacork + gives a perfect look with a finer cork grain.
It has all the characteristics of Seacork Original, but does not reveal any cork grain in the material.
The properties have been preserved with a touch of modernity and originality.
Seacork Hull®
Sprayed cork for its anti-condensation properties and for thermal insulation as a lining for the hull and cockpit of your boat or sailboat.
It is also very effective for sound insulation in engine compartments.
Seacork spray cork is available in a range of colours, tinted using pigments.
Why cork?
The qualities and advantages of cork
A noble material with a unique texture.
The history of cork is inextricably linked with the world of boating, and it has been used since ancient times. It has a place in today's boating practices, and is a natural part of them.
Aesthetics and comfort
A luxurious material:
Thermal insulation - Cork does not store heat and does not cause overheating.
Anti-slip - reduces the risk of falling, even when wet.
Anti-vibration - cork increases sound insulation and provides greater comfort.
Light - it can be applied to any surface without weighing it down.
Durability and reliability
Cork is one of the most durable organic materials.
Robust against natural abrasion and impact, it is rot-proof and can withstand harsh marine conditions.
It is waterproof and respects gas exchange.
The durability of Seacork for boat decks will depend on a number of factors. As with wood, the thickness and frequency of sanding will be factors to be taken into account, as will the care taken by the owner.
Many boat owners have been using it for over 17 years without any problems.
Cork is also resistant to insects, rodents and mould.
Economical and ecological
Our cork is a natural material that comes from the bark of the cork oak tree.
The cork oak is a real carbon trap, and after being removed, the bark regenerates naturally and the tree absorbs 3 to 5 times more CO2.
Cork is recyclable.
Seacork Deck© is easy to install and maintain, and is the best economic and ecological alternative to the coverings currently on the market.
The main saving is due to the ease with which it can be laid, which means less time is needed than with teak, but also in the event of modifications or repairs. These are easier and less costly.
Technical and easy to maintain
Seacork Deck is a deck refit solution that has been in use for over 20 years, with no customer feedback on wear, comfort or durability. Maintenance is simple but must be carried out regularly.
Seacork Hull and Van, our sprayed cork product provides comfort by stopping condensation and is widely used for roofing.
Cork is ideal for THERMAL and SOUND INSULATION
