Seacork Sprayed Cork Suberspray — High-Performance Insulation,

Designed for the most demanding professional nautical applications, this water-based technical coating is applied by pneumatic spray onto any surface, regardless of geometry: complex hull shapes, ceiling linings, curved bulkheads, sharp angles, areas inaccessible to rigid solutions. No thermal bridge, no blind spot, no compromise.

A Technical Formula at 60% Cork, Manufactured in France

Composed of 60% natural French recycled cork, this solvent-free water-based product delivers remarkable thermal and acoustic insulation performance in a material that is safe for crews and respectful of the environment. Each sprayed coat reaches 2 mm in thickness, providing a homogeneous and continuous finish across the entire treated surface.

Technical Performance in the Service of Professional Shipyards

  • Thermal resistance from -40°C to +200°C: suited to extreme environments, from Arctic navigation to high-temperature engine spaces
  • Total elimination of thermal bridges: no condensation, no mould, no humidity-driven corrosion
  • Effective acoustic insulation: significant reduction of hull noise, engine vibration and navigation noise
  • Bonds to all substrates: fibreglass, steel, aluminium, timber, concrete

A Controlled Application Process, a Predictable Result

50 Shades for a Professional Finish

Seacork sprayed cork is not merely an insulator: it is also a finish. Available in 50 shades using Seacork pigments, it allows the hull interior or ceiling lining to be treated with a professional aesthetic result, without any additional surface covering. Pigments are available separately in our online shop.

The Seacork Spray Gun

To ensure optimal application and professional-grade yield, Seacork offers its dedicated pneumatic spray gun, specifically designed for water-based cork projection. Available separately in our online shop.

FAQ

How many coats should be applied? Two to three coats are recommended for optimal insulation, giving a total thickness of 2 to 4 mm. Each coat requires 1 to 2 hours drying time at 20°C before the next is applied.

Is the product suitable for engine compartments? Yes, its thermal resistance up to +200°C makes it perfectly suited to bulkheads and overhead surfaces in engine spaces.

Is specialist equipment required for application? Yes, pneumatic spray application is essential to ensure homogeneous projection and controlled yield. The Seacork spray gun is available in our online shop.

Can sprayed cork replace traditional ceiling lining? Yes, it represents a modern and higher-performing alternative to conventional lining panels: no mechanical fixings, no gaps between panels, no condensation trapped behind the surface.

Can the product be tinted? Yes, 50 shades are available using Seacork pigments, allowing full aesthetic integration into the boat’s interior scheme.(> nuancier)
